Good Sabbath
July 10, 2004
What do I miss most...driving my car or writing my columns? Took some shots for the arm and shoulder and have faith that improvement is on its way!
Thanks O Lord
for lending me Frances
to tend the pain
for just her morning smile
and girlish laugh
make everything be better.
Thank You, O Lord
for allowing the celebration of our 54th;
how can so many years go so quickly?
How can a love so deep, deepen?
How can I wake up each morning
longing to see her smile and her warmth?
Robbie, our grand grandson is at Oxford and visits what he had only imagined: Paris, London, history, sculpture.
The years fly by as memory pausesfilling up biography and the next generation takes deeper roots,
learning from the past witnessing the future.
History's foundation joins the family's, becoming firmer in devotion to each other--making successive generations wiser, more appreciative of what has passed and what will be.
Have a perfect Sabbath, filled with love and kindness and memory
