Good Sabbath

June 26, 2004

Frances is running a garage sale in between assisting my every need.

Thank Thee,O Lord
For pain reminds me
of those who suffer it more deeply,
more often.

Writing is just too difficult for I am right handed and that's the part that is fractured.
So celebrate our freedom, and whatever joy with which you are blessed this week.

Think of those who have passed from sight, but not from mind.

We never know when the end will come, for young soldier, child, old friend, parent or spouse.
Live each day as if it were your last--to its fullest. We are not tested by pain but by faith during liberty's dark days.

As we hand over Iraq to its new government, pray that devils will not win the "peace" whatever happens, and that politics will not keep us divided.

We are meant to treat each other as if Adam and Eve parented us all. Religion should be our mucilage, not the ripping of our fabric.

God of us all
Bless us with understanding, kindness and love--
With leaders who prize us above party
Who bring us together--
Then we will be as You fashioned us
And evil will disappear.

Be well on sacred Sabbath
